If you decided to showcase your product on Product Hunt for the first time, I thought you should start doing these immediately. 1️⃣ Define the goals for launching on Product Hunt - Finding initial users for our product? We can find potential users based on the interests listed in their profiles or those who have left reviews for similar products. There are also services like https://upvote-bell.com/leaderboard/category/saas that can help us. - Collecting diverse feedback? We can gather feedback by posting on the discussion forum before launch and by receiving reviews after launch. As you know, there are numerous experts and early adopters here and we're all always open to sharing our opinions. I also recommend using hashtags like #buildinpublic on social media to share the product development process. - Honor of "Product of the day"? Yes, receiving the Product of the day/week/month badge is a great honor. As far as I know, there is less competition on weekends than on weekdays, and the Product of the week is chosen from products posted from Monday to Sunday. 2️⃣ Go through Product Hunt in detail The outcome will depend on how well you utilize the various factors that can help makers. - Profile setup Some people missed out on opportunities like good proposals because they didn't have a way to be contacted. By adding links to your Twitter, email, personal website, or any other contact information to your profile, along with a brief introduction, you won't miss out on any potential opportunities. - Points, Badges, and Streaks Badges depend on the number of points you have earned, with badges appearing next to your username starting at 101 points. PH also shows Streak rankings of who has been the most active. (https://www.producthunt.com/visit-streaks) Since these two factors display how active a user is, it's important to manage them. - Consistently respond to products and participate in the community As many people emphasize, this seems to be the best way to build influence and reputation in the community. Monitor the products that are being released daily and let's encourage each other! Also, since this community is made up of makers in similar situations, it's the optimal place to share your concerns. Also, you can see how people react to similar services and what questions they have, and you can see how other makers are presenting their products, which is really important! - Create a teaser before the launch If you have a release date set even roughly, I recommend making a teaser! People who hit Notify me from the teaser can receive a notification when the product is launched. From 7 days before the release date, it may be exposed in the Coming Soon tap. --- By this point, you should have a good idea of what you need to do. Start talking to your team about planning based on the amount of time and resources you have available to be active until launch. What do you think? What else should we do at the beginning? Moving forward, our team plans to document the trial and error we encounter while preparing for our launch. We will continue to share this information with the community and collect them all on the site below. https://slashpage.com/ph-launch-tips/d7916x82rxyy24kpyg3j (If you liked this website, please check out our teaser! It's for the product we will soon be launching. 👉 https://www.producthunt.com/products/slashpage)

Defining the goal is a good starting point. It is also good to check your available resource (current user list, connection with other makers...) My action template can help with that: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

@fabian_maume Wow, I've only seen the trial version and it's already very informative. Thanks for the great information!
