They build a product that people want. And the more people want it, the faster it grows. Take ChatGPT. It was the fastest growing app to 100 million. And from Sam Altman himself: "chatgpt has no social features or built-in sharing, you have to sign up before you can use it, no inherent viral loop, etc. seriously questioning the years of advice i gave to startups 🙃"
