    Fam! share your perspectives on taking startup grants. if you've applied for any, how did it go, and if you've got any grants, how did it help you.

    We've got a grant from the incubation program for social impact entrepreneurs (Social Tides). It allowed us to formally incorporate and team up with a developer to make an MVP of our web application. One of the main benefits of grants is that they don't dilute your ownership, but at the same time, they can have quite strict requirements for eligibility and reporting.

    @karl_mechkin that sounds great! grants do come with their strict rules, but the benefits outweigh everything and gives you a huge boost.
