I'm doing some research about what you like the most about whatever note-taking/productivity tool that you can't live without.
For my side, I love the simplicity and easy-setup about the tables that Notion offers, to quickly organize my finances, I definitely can't live without it. 🤔
What about you? Also, is there any improvement that you would like to see regarding your picking?

@dotpegaso for all my notes related to meetings, which is the majority of them, I use @notivhq to capture contextual notes during a meeting.

Definitely IA writer, but most often on the go I go with just a small notebook.

Probably in the few here but honestly the Apple Notes app on iPhone, it's just there, everyone knows how to use it, it has enough formatting for me and it doesn't just lend itself to one form of note taking.
Outside of that then probably Bear

I am a tech writer and it is very important for me to take notes for moth my articles and my books. But it is a very big problem that I cannot solve it. As I read the comments most people need to find whenthe note is needed. Best search feature is on Evernote. But it happens to me several times that when I bought the premium version on the middleof the year couldnt share anything with evernote. The app gives API error and become mulfunction. So I tried notion. Somehow i ouldnt like it. Try mendeley (it is a great for me since most of my notes are texts. but it doesnt take notes in every pages. Sometimes have probs with pdf's) , than try different types of products now I have two... Instapaper and WhatsApp ... I have a whatsapp group with only me. That is working for every kind of notes and instapaper. Sometimes I used Safari (read later) but couldnt find a great app that takes all my information and index it. So I can search...
Btw it is 2021 and I dont want to organize my data. I want the app do it for me and give me absolute data I need when I asked. No matter it will do it via AI r hybrid cloud or anything else.
I started with Evernote then migrate to Google Keep. I'm still using it, especially with team mate cause it doesn't require any additional payment when you add someone to share or edit your notes... but now I'm 100% Notion.
OneNote is perfect option for me
I have been with evernote for awhile. I have tried others, but always come back to evernote.

I use Notion. Asides from the speed issues (which it appears they're fixing), it fits perfectly into my workflow. I use it for (almost) everything — writing content, project management, etc. It's super helpful having all I need in one place.
Nothing beats the simplicity of Google Keep for me
Deepmail
Whatsapp. Especially good for getting files from phone to computer and vice versa.
1. Create a WhatsApp group with 1 friend
2. Kick out friend
3. Pin chat by swiping left in overview
4. Change icon to a notepad, change group name to Notes

@aymericg email i have to open email, type in address, maybe type in subject, go to body and type, might have to go to attach, then browse round my phone looking for a file. Send it. then on my computer go to my email. gmail search is pretty crap. a lot more steps.
Whatsapp - my notes is pinned to the top, so open whatsapp, i just click on notes, type "this is your note" then press send. then its there on my phone as soon as i open whatsapp, same as on my computer. Also if I receive an image from someone else, or a message i can just forward that. or a picture on my phone can be quickly shared. and whatsapp search is better
Many reasons its better than email

I have been using Nebo a lot on the iPad. I am very old school and love handwritten notes with hand drawn diagrams, charts (doodles in the margin 🙈) etc. Nebo converts the handwritten notes into text which is so great!
Has to be GoodNotes. I use it on my iPad. I also have an Apple Pencil and I just love the combo.
You can import PDFs and write over them and cool stuff like that. I also use it to make flashcards.
The developers behind it did a great job!
I'm back to where it started for me, Evernote.
I'm a long time user of evernote and a couple years ago got kinda fet up with them and jump ship to different systems, like oneNote, Notion and Roam. All of which are great tools, but not for me for storing information for the long run. Just to much upkeep.
Now I'm quite happy again with the new and improved direction Evernote is taking, the app is speedie, and I can store in away that works for me.
Also I loving the new early acces tasks system to keep track of thing to do and not having to use another app for that.
@coen_brasser What's with two accounts making the same comment? Rather suspicious!
Evernote is okay though

@coen_brasser OneNote is definitely worth using) or maybe this is just a default app that everyone started using and didn't complain but for me it works very well indeed)
I use Notion + Upnote (https://www.producthunt.com/post...). Notion for the long term info is perfect, but the giant structure and loading speed is not suit for quick note. So, I use UpNote for the purpose, it's simple, elegant, and very quick. Also, the best thing is the speed of cross-platform sync and One-Time Payment! (I am so tired about anything I used need to subscribe 😩)
I have recently used Notion and I find it very useful.
Then, there is Google Workspace.
I use Jira for project management, Apple Notes while researching, SideNotes for quick notes and tasks popping-up spontaneously. UpNote looks nice too. It's an intuitive and elegant alternative to Bear or Noto.
