I've got used to using Captr by @suman_sigdel for sharing screenshots on Twitter - its the non Mac equivalent of Xnapper
I'm gonna start with Arc Browser
Depends on what I am working on....
Right now Figma.
I'd say Orion Browser on both iOS and MacOS. It allows you to install Chrome or Firefox extensions on mobile! For desktop use, it's got the extensions but also the battery consumption of Safari so best of both worlds IMO.
The company behind the extension is also pretty focused on privacy, they even launched their own search engine called Kagi. Highly recommended
@anees_iqbal Just heard Orion Browser but it looks cool. Have you tried Arc?
@distartin I looked around the Arc website, I'm not sold tbh. A browser needs to be trust worthy since it'll control my login cookies to all my online life. That means there's gotta be people I can hold accountable if something goes wrong.
The arc website (https://arc.net/) has no information on who is to blame if things go south, only a Typeform I have to fill to download things. Their company page (https://thebrowser.company/) is similarly anonymous. Clicking contact opens up email, careers page doesn't have much to go with either.
How do you trust these people?
Ulysses, this one I discovered a few days ago, by the way I found this app here best book writing apps for mac actually there are many different ones here, I haven't tried them all but this was the first one and I really liked it. I just started using it but I must say it is very convenient, until it suits me a lot especially because I am a student and I need to do a lot of writing.
