Spend quality time with friends and loved ones (family is #1).
Personally these other 3 activities do wonders for me:
- taking walks
- exercising
- eating healthy
@ed_forson πΈπΈ Great! A supportive family and friend is better than all medicines in the world

@indu_thangamuthu Absolutely. Family is the root, the pillar of one's life.

@ed_forson walking through nature can be very therapeutic
Don't be afraid to confront an unpleasant situation and face it head on, especially if I know it will benefit me in my personal and professional life. It is always challenging, but I can find that it becomes easier and easier with each case.
@patriksvobπ Good mental health has got the power to accept every situation and acknowledge the results.

It is difficult to say what gives the best effect. I never liked psychotherapy and preferred simple methods. My main problem is the difficulty in communicating with women. I was able to solve this in 2020 when I learned how to effectively use local hook ups on a local site. Yes, it turned out that I have quite a few singles around)) I consider this my biggest victory.

not everything works fine for all. but something always matches someone's vibe and that's how nature is built. In my opinion...there's something always found. It is always upto us to find the one that matches
Meditation and journaling
@jareer_samad ππ I used to write diary. People laughed at me. But when I stopped doing it 'cuz of work load, that's when I realized what I lost. Journaling is wonderful. It equals to speaking with the best friend.
@indu_thangamuthu Most people won't appreciate the benefits of journaling because they haven't tried. Its often difficult to find allocated time for journaling but even occasional thought dump helps.
@jareer_samad Yess... I occasionally do that when I am unable to shout at someone π€ͺ

I try going to the gym regularly. I have observed that exercising helps me to push myself, sweat out that extra energy and declutter my mind.
Exercising is physically rewarding, but it's also great for mental well-being.

For me and right after the Pandemic started it was to start focusing less on what I could not control and more on what I could control. Very good question @indu_thangamuthu
@craig_belcher1 Thanks π . Focusing on what we can control by itself means good health and good thoughts
Believing in myself, and remember about remain silent instead of arguing. Being at pease with myself is the key to mental health :)
@julia_gutkind indeed. only if you are happy with yourself, you will know what happiness is
@julia_gutkind Practicing "peace-with- myself" is not an easy task ππ
@indu_thangamuthu it's true, but it's very important <3

@sakshi_gahlawat π that's great. Have you ever felt undisturbed because of the negativity around you?
@sakshi_gahlawat How do you handle that and look for positivity?
@indu_thangamuthu yeah sometimes
Long walks and spending a lot of time just being myself
@murali_aasaan ππ indeed..the more your mind listens to you, it will be fit .
One of the best things I've done for my mental health is to make sure that I take the time to practice self-care. That includes making it a priority to get enough rest and exercise, eat healthy meals, and connect with friends or find outlets for creativity. It's also important to set boundaries, prioritize activities that bring joy and practice positive self-talk. Taking these small steps has made a huge impact in my mental wellbeing!
@haroon_khan14 π impressive and true to every word. Your mind listens only to what you say to it. Speak positive and you are in your own good hands
Optimizing my food transformed my life.
I started a meal plan and it did two things.
1. It saved time and removed the stress around "What should I eat next?" Reducing this cognitive load doesn't feel like a big deal, but it makes all the difference.
2. It improved my focus, made my emotions more even, and even improved my routines like sleep patterns.
