Spheria: your brain has two hemispheres. Your left one controls speech, comprehension, arithmetic, and writing; the right one controls creativity, spatial ability, artistic, and musical skills.

8Arc - I tried to find as short a name as possible, but the catch is the domain is .xyz, so 8arc.xyz. The 8 is suppose to be the infinity sign standing vertically, and Arc as in anime arc. So Infinite Arc. 8Arc is a text-to-movie generator. We hope to make it easy for creatives to make an infinite movie arcs. I just launched, feel free to check it out: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Our brand name is The Clueless Company. We found people building products are engineers in most cases and have great minds when it comes to technical but when it comes to marketing, sales, and customer support they are clueless and that's how we came up with The Clueless Company to help clueless founders using RevOps.

@mehul_fanawala this is just intelligent! Reminds me of the boring company, I always refer into their clever name.
@juliasuontama, thank you so much and now I bet that every time you speak or hear "Clueless" you will recall The Clueless Company.
@gene_nemirovsky thank you, Gene and love to hear your perspective how did you find it slightly "condescending"?
    Gene Nemirovsky
@mehul_fanawala condescending in a cute way, not aimed to offend. Assuming that engineers are clueless when it comes to those other things, which of course isn't the case a lot of the times. Again, I like the name, it has an edge.
@gene_nemirovsky aha got it, I thought other way around. Thanks for the clarification. Appreciate it.

Timberdog - because I wanted to convey rugged, outdoors, wild, adventure. It's also a play on words because for every dog bed sold, I plant two trees in partnership with One Tree Planted to further my goal of becoming carbon negative. Finally, my dog - who is our company mascot - also has high wolf gene, and wolves are often called timber dogs.

the name of our product is Control (web-based website editor) - for us this means few things: 1. Designer finally have control over the live site and can make edits without having to bug a developer 2. Developer has control over his code base - the website editor is just a Headless plug-in into his site. So he stays in VSCode and does not need to inject code like in other builders, which feels really unprofessional and stupid.

@antonikozelski Corbado. Fernando José Corbató was the inventor of the modern password and as our mission is to free the world from passwords, we thought that a slightly softer name would be a good fit :D

Thinksy :) it started as an idea management app and we were joking around with the phrase "me thinksy". It stuck even though we've pivoted to be a Slack app for SWEs that automatically summarizes your work for performance reviews, promos, etc.

@antonikozelski Thank you! We *think* so :) Is it something you could use? We're doing free trials
