'Human-first' to me means no automation.
There are only 2 reasons one uses automation:
1. Laziness – Speaks for itself
2. Too much work – You have to find out why you're too busy and fix the issue, not use an app to help keep you busy by just moving what you need to do to a different day.
Also regarding automation, I don't use any, why? I do the work when it needs to be done. I have an unpaid assistant (my task manager) and it tells me what I need to do and when.
We as humans are relying WAY too much on automation/robots/AI and such for too many tasks, and forgetting what it means to be human and to enjoy life and not work ourselves to the bone by moving sh!t around.
I'm in the minority, but I'm sure others will come around to understanding why one day ;-)

The pace of technological change is accelerating, and workers need to be able to keep up. This means investing in upskilling and reskilling programs to help workers learn new skills and adapt to new roles.
Flexibility and work-life balance
