What's a common misconception about your product or industry that you'd like to clear up?

A common misconception about my industry, AI and machine learning, is that these technologies can fully understand and emulate human emotions and consciousness, whereas, in reality, they are based on complex mathematical algorithms and statistical models that can mimic certain human-like behaviors but lack genuine understanding or consciousness.
