I've been revisiting the RaftLabs website and thinking about how to improve our “About Us” page. What do you think makes a strong and engaging “About Us” page, and what elements are essential to include? Currently we talk about founders only.

For me, making it personal. Storytelling through words, photos, videos, etc.

Sure, talking about the founders is great, but an engaging "About Us" page should also highlight your team's passion, values, and unique culture. Think of it as the "Her Ideal Match" for your business – showing off the personality that truly resonates with your audience.

"About Us" pages are a fantastic opportunity for Employer Branding. From what I’ve seen, this is where visitors naturally go to learn about a company, expecting details on founders, the team, a mission or vision statement, and perhaps some office photos. When building these pages, it’s essential to consider the target audience. For example, the "About Us" page can be a powerful entry point for potential applicants. By telling a compelling story about your company, you can seamlessly guide them toward your careers page, making it easier to convert interest into applications.
