What lessons did you learn from past mistakes in your Product Hunt launch?

Can you share your experience to help others avoid common mistakes during a launch?
It's from our personal experience, and we hope sharing it will prevent us all from repeating those mistakes again.
During our last launch, we made a crucial error—we only created the Product Hunt (PH) treasure page a day before the big reveal. Unfortunately, this led to less upvotes than we had hoped for.
The treasure page plays an important role, so make sure to create it approximately a month in advance.
Now, we are taking a different approach to our upcoming launch. Around a month ago, we planted the seed by crafting a treasure page well in advance. This time, we are determined to avoid the mistakes of the past and ensure a successful launch on PH.
Here's what we have been up to:
-We learned that timing matters, Creating the treasure page a month ago gives us the advantage of building anticipation and interest over time.
-We are actively participating in discussions, seeking feedback, and supporting fellow creators.
- Beyond the PH platform, we used PH LinkedIn groups, and PH WhatsApp groups. Connecting with users through various channels allows us to create a buzz leading up to the launch.
- Consistency is key. We are supporting other products daily, not just for the sake of it, but as a genuine effort to be a valuable part of the community.
Now, as we approach the launch date, and excited for the launch.

I wish we started our outreach efforts at least 10-15 days before release. We spent only 7 days and managed to get over 200 followers for a fresh app releasing for the first time. I am pretty certain it could've been way more if we allocated more time.
Lesson carried forward for our next launch so "no ragrets"
@atik_hossain Absolutely, your outreach in just 7 days was impressive, Planning ahead for the next launch will undoubtedly get even greater results.
