As an engineer, I often feel I spend too much time redesigning things because I just don't know how to design well to begin with. I recently bought Refactoring UI and it has opened my eyes on how I can improve. What other resources should I look at?

Highly recommend the "The Design of Everyday Things" book by Don Norman. It offers valuable insights into overall user-friendly design principles✌️
@imlindsay Thank you, will add it to my list. I'll follow you back, also happy to connect on Twitter/LinkedIn.

So many great resources in this discussion, love it, and bookmarked for later research.🤓
@adlemansky Yeah, this was very useful for myself :)
Refactoring UI is a great start! I also recommend 'Don't Make Me Think' by Steve Krug for its practical approach to web usability.
@siavoshzarrasvand, thanks for asking! We're super excited about launching Sol-A. It's an app designed to boost productivity and ignite creativity. Imagine a tool that lets you quickly draft professional emails, plan your next big project, or even brainstorm new ideas for your hobbies – that's what Sol-A is all about.
It comes loaded with AI-powered shortcuts for things like creating grocery lists in a snap or prepping for interviews. There's also this neat speech tool where you can speak your thoughts, and it transforms them into structured content and takes action based on that info. And for those times when you need to delve deep, our research engine is a real lifesaver.
I'm really eager to see how it can simplify and add a bit of fun to everyone's life. Looking forward to your thoughts once it's out there!
@remilittle Thank you my friend! I see it says you're launching soon, may I ask what you're launching?
@remilittle Nice one and good luck - looking forward to see the release!
