PH (of course), LinkedIn & X

@daxeelsoni How we can do some publication on Linkedin ? is there kind of group, hashtag since i am a new linkedin user
Andrey Severin
X and then LinkedIn
Sia
It depends what you're launching. A new designer cloth brand? Tiktok, Youtube, Instagram and Pinterest. A new SaaS application? X, LinkedIn and various developer blogs.

I think it is X and LinkedIn. Launching today, let's see how many people support from where ;) I am pretty big on PH community itself :)

@neelptl2602 Agree. Good luck on the launch!
Aditya Chavan
@neelptl2602 I think LinkedIn wins hands down.
Elen Udovichenko
It's ALL OF THEM! 😅 We even tapped into Whatsapp and Telegram communities with our launch
Daxeel Soni
@elen_u Interesting. How do your find these communities? Will be helpful for our launch
Elen Udovichenko
@daxeelsoni On Telegram, you can simply use the search - there are a few of public groups. As for the Whatsapp, got some suggestions from fellow makers!

I think you need to figure out where your customers are first. If they are for example on Reddit the most then you need to figure out how to be there. Launching on PH is good but you need to make avenues for people to discover your product, you can’t rely just on one or your PH launch being the one that gets viral— it might— but cut through the noise.

Twitter: This is an essential platform due to its real-time nature and strong tech and startup community. It’s great for creating buzz, sharing updates, and engaging directly with influencers, industry leaders, and potential users. A successful launch on Product Hunt often sees high engagement on Twitter, with key stakeholders and users discussing and promoting the launch. LinkedIn: For B2B-focused startups, LinkedIn is invaluable. It allows for targeted networking and outreach, especially for connecting with industry professionals, potential partners, and investors. Sharing your Product Hunt launch on LinkedIn can lend credibility and attract a professional audience. Instagram: If your product has a strong visual element or is B2C-focused, Instagram can be highly effective for reaching a wider, more diverse audience. Instagram Stories and posts can be used to showcase your product’s features, share behind-the-scenes content, and drive traffic to your Product Hunt page. Facebook: While its impact can vary based on your target demographic, Facebook's extensive user base and advertising capabilities can be useful for reaching specific audiences. Facebook groups related to startups and technology can also be a good place to share your Product Hunt launch. Reddit: Subreddits related to startups, technology, and specific industries can be a great place to engage with a community that is often very tech-savvy and open to trying new products. However, it's important to engage authentically and adhere to each community’s guidelines. YouTube: For products that require more in-depth explanations or have a strong visual or experiential component, creating a launch video on YouTube can be effective. It also helps in SEO and reaching audiences who prefer video content over text. TikTok: For consumer-focused products, especially those targeting younger demographics, TikTok can be a powerful tool for creative, viral marketing content.

Based on our launch experience with Logomakerr.ai, hitting up Instagram and Twitter worked like a charm for spreading the word and connecting with our awesome design-savvy audience!
Tanvirul Huda
Twitter and LinkedIn are commonly effective for reaching a professional audience, while Instagram and Facebook may work well for a more consumer-oriented product
Xavier JJ
@tanvirulhuda So like.. Twitter and LinkedIn are great for introducing products that help development/business while Instagram and Facebook are great for Entertainment/Consumer apps?
Sidra Arif
I would say LinkedIn.

@jao_japitana no not really, the harder part is just to find the cool communities 😄

Highly depending on the target audience. However, if it's B2B then go for LinkedIn or Twitter. Yet, if it's B2C then opt for Instagram. Some say Facebook, but it didn't turn out well in our case (we're B2B).

Nico Spijker
@prema_toppo @daxeelsoni There are quite a few free Slack communities with channels for this. Here are some that come to mind: - Demandcurve - PLG - CRO growth hacks - Growth marketing pros

I am trying to leverage LinkedIn as it's the one where I have more audience. X is a tougher game
