AI in the future is likely to replace routine and repetitive tasks across various industries. This includes manufacturing jobs involving monotonous assembly line work, customer service roles that require scripted responses, data entry positions, and even certain aspects of healthcare like medical data analysis.

So they said Social Media was gonna bring us all closer together, what could go wrong?

I think AI oversaturation will increase the value of human-created assets.
Using AI too much for simple tasks, like writing emails or comments, can make people less smart and too reliant on AI tools.
Makers of such tools or technology for sure will be in profits

Do you all think that due to the complexity of AI, the limited chip makers, etc, the majority of the markets will be dominated by big firms?

AI surely has a lot of potential to transform how we currently use our devices and softwares. It won't be as quick as it is being hyped and companies nowadays are just riding on the hype to launch anything with AI buzzword. The products which actually makes a better use of AI and provide some value to it's customers will be in the sweet spot.
AI will get changed completely with statistics, after incorporing the correct interpretation of what a p-value (1 par) is, what is the meaning of correlation (2 pars), how attention (3 pars) should be reinvented..., and the rest of nests.
Nowdays it is a very incovenient mistery with a big waste of money and lifes and noone put this point in mention.
This is such a big question that carries a lot of weight and nuances!
Thinking of Artificial Intelligence in general, in the mid- to long-term there are still so many unknowns re: where it will get and what it will be able achieve. These questions also reach philosophical levels such as AI "consciousness" or "awareness", and they can easily lead to dangerous scenarios that today we can see only in Sci-Fi movies. This is why regulation and governance are so, so important, e.g. responsible and ethical AI are key!
If we just consider LLM and generative AI such as chatGPT and similar, instead, one of the leitmotifs I often see lately is that "many people will lose their job". I really don't think so! Jobs and people's tasks will also evolve! I am in awe when I use chatGPT for some coding-related tasks and I really think that this type of AI will allow us to work smarter and focus on what really matters. For instance, we are working on our product right now that we will launch on PH soon, and while coding the MVP I often asked ChatGPT4 for assistance. This assistance was not "magic" (i.e. I did not get my product magically done), but it was as good as my specific prompts to the AI. So in my case instead of searching for solutions in blogs or on stackoverflow, I asked very specific questions to chatGPT, showing portions of my code and asking for best practices and alternative or more optimal ways to achieve my goals. This was almost like a real-time peer review of my work and resulted in a better and cleaner code, that I wrote faster thanks to the quick responses from the AI. So what will happen in engineering and software development for instance, is that thanks to AI we won't need to write the most boring parts of our code, but we will be focusing instead on the overall architecture and functionality and on the big picture. i.e. engineers will become more "architects" than coders.
My two cents 🤖
The future of AI is both promising and complex, with potential impacts spanning various sectors including healthcare, education, transportation, and more. Here are some key aspects to consider about the future of AI
1- AI will get smarter - AI systems are expected to improve, doing tasks better and faster than humans in many areas.
2- More AI in daily life - AI will become a bigger part of our homes and daily routines, helping us with tasks and making life easier.
3- Jobs and economy - AI will change the job market. Some jobs might disappear because of automation, but new types of jobs will also appear.
4- Important choices - There will be big questions about right and wrong with AI use, such as how to keep people's information private and how to make AI fair for everyone.
5- Rules for AI - Countries might work together to set rules for using AI safely and fairly across the world.
6- Better healthcare - AI could help doctors diagnose diseases faster and more accurately, and tailor treatments to individual patients.
7- Self-driving cars - AI might lead to cars that can drive themselves, making roads safer and changing how we travel.
8- AI in arts - AI can also help in creative fields, helping to make new kinds of art and music.
9- Education - AI could make learning more personalized, adapting to what each student needs to learn best.
10- Space exploration - AI could handle difficult tasks in space, helping explore other planets and manage spacecraft.
Overall, AI has the potential to bring a lot of positive changes, but it's important to manage it carefully to make sure it benefits everyone.

The future of AI is promising! It will continue to advance in various industries, but we must also consider ethical implications and ensure responsible development. 🤖
I think AI is heading towards being way more integrated into daily life than we ever imagined. It's not just about smarter gadgets and self-driving cars, but also about AI helping us to make better decisions and maybe even understanding us a bit more. It's gonna be wild to see how it all unfolds! 🤔
I think IM(Instant Messaging) gonna be changed totally.
Think about everyone gonna have MLLM on their devices, include PC, mobile phone and robots. Here are 3 different situation:
1. People to People. When you talk to someone, his/her AI will help to response. AI can be a bridge between peoples.
2. People to Robots. Imagine you have some robots in your home, and you want them to clean your house. What you gonna do is to have a group chat, tell them to do cleaning. I bet you don't want give them order in different apps, right?
3. Robots to Robots. Let's continue with house cleaning example. In that group chat, Robots need to collaborate with Robots.
So, in my opinion, there will be a brand new AI IM app to make we people connect to the world more.
I think AI gives a chance to anyone to learn more if we use it in a good way u can become whoever you want and its something we need nowadays.
It ll surely become necessary soon so I think its important to learn about it now.
I don't think its that dangerous as long as u know how to use it and put limits its like all technologie.
I think AI eats our world
In the past 2 years we have seen AI beat expectations by a wide margin, and I wouldn't be surprised if it continues to. If this exponential progress is sustainable, there could be very advanced AI able to replace >80% of office jobs in the next 10-20 years.
But we might also hit a progress ceiling like it has been the case before in AI and other technologies - then AI wouldn't change society all that much in the next 20 years.
For now I would still believe more in the first hypothesis
AI has creates a revolution in the photos and videos editing. Many application are already using AI technology in it like AI video Enhancer and edit your videos

I think the future of AI is promising as long as the right people lead the industry in the right direction, set responsible AI ground rules, etc. At Fingerprint For Succes, we've been very intentional in establishing our ethical commitments: https://www.fingerprintforsucces...
In my role producing content, AI has been transforming in the sense of producing high-quality content in far less time and at a much lower cost. The improvements in productivity, efficiency etc is exciting, particularly for startups with limited resources trying to compete with more established players.

I believe the future of AI holds immense potential for augmenting human capabilities and solving complex global challenges. However, it's crucial that we navigate ethical considerations and ensure equitable access to its benefits.
