Having a user friendly website is a must. From then on, I think it really depends on the target audience. You could go all into typography as a graphic element and still succeed in capturing user's attention :)

Minimalistic layouts, bold typography, micro-animations, and dark mode are trending.
"הגירה לאירופה זמינה לכולם!
אין לך דרכון אירופאי? אין בעיה! https://togetthere.info/moving-t... אנו מציעים לך דרכים חלופיות להגירה כדי שתוכל למצוא חיים באירופה."
Oh, depending on the context you could make good use of colors and movement. They are great for driving attention if the context isn't already full of them.
@louis_garnier Hi Louis, no. I'm talking about visual perception. We humans have evolved to survive and the way we perceive reality played a big role on that. Studies found that perception patterns can be applied to design and are specially useful in UI design.
A simple exemple: One can drive attention by applying movement to a button (like a button that has a moving glow).

Depends on your user group! It's less about the "trends" and more about the value of the content you're providing them and when in their experience you're surfacing that too them.
Bold visuals, minimalistic layouts, and interactive elements. Vibrant color schemes, subtle animations

Usability is paramount. Making a platform, app or site feel intuitive is integral to it's staying power.
I can provide you with some design trends that were popular and effective in grabbing users' attention. Keep in mind that design trends may have evolved since then, so it's a good idea to research more recent sources for the latest insights.
Here are some trends that were relevant:
1. Minimalism and Simplified Design
2. Vivid Colors and Gradients
3. Micro interactions
4. Typography Play
5. Asymmetry and Broken Grid Layouts
6. 3D and Realism
7. Custom Illustrations and Icons
8. Video and Motion Graphics
9. Dark Mode
10. Personalization
Remember that while these trends can capture attention, it's essential to ensure that the design choices align with your brand, message, and the preferences of your target audience. Always prioritize usability, accessibility, and a seamless user experience alongside attention-grabbing design elements.
