For me, one was dealing with complex OpenTelemetry collector configurations, so we went ahead and did OTelBin ;-)

Some of the key chalanges of using OpenTelemetry are: Project has a lot of scope in improving documentation and support. It does not provide backend storage and a visualization layer.
