I think it depends on the type of research you want to conduct. Primary market research (aka the research you conduct yourself) is very helpful for product development and competitor analysis. While using tools like SEMRush or Ahrefs can give you some good data, it is all directed towards keywords and SEO. Which is helpful....but it also doesn't tell you what your audience actually thinks about you, your competitors, or your category. Tools like SightX.io are great for conducting your own primary market research. They are releasing a new AI research consultant in November which uses GPT to automate the entire research process. You just input your goals or challenges, and the consultant will create custom surveys, competitor analysis, and experiments. It will also connect you to respondents and pick our key insights from your data.

I would be very curious to see answers from people, as, mainly with market research, i am really hoping to find a good direction. Do you have any tools already using or new to this topic?

When it comes to analyzing competitors' website traffic and SEO performance, I highly recommend using Ahrefs. With this tool, you can dive deep into a domain's web presence, gaining insights into their top-performing pages, keywords they rank for, backlink profiles, and much more. It offers a comprehensive view, helping you strategize more effectively based on real-world data. On a related note, our team at GrowthX specializes in assisting businesses in leveraging such insights for effective growth marketing. If you're interested, I'd love to discuss how we can further support your market research and competitor analysis endeavors. Would you be open to scheduling a call?
