Hey all!
This is my first time launching and I’m a solo developer/founder experiencing some massive uncertainty about the best way to go about things. Any suggestions or tips would help! Planning on sending the launch on here later.
Thanks ahead of time!

Check out the fb group link in my bio. Lots of great people there who had that same question and got the answers they needed. Good luck with your launch!

Launching soon!
Hey there! As a fellow tech enthusiast with experience in startups, I'd recommend focusing on creating a buzz pre-launch through social media teasers and engaging with potential users. Remember, the launch is just the beginning of the journey, so stay agile and gather feedback post-launch to iterate and improve. Good luck with your launch!
@thestarkster Thanks Gurkaran! Building social media buzz definitely seems like the way to go. Slow grind but hope we get there! :)
There are some rules to launch, but you should use it wisely, what is the key purpose of your launch? Is it to get users, get feedback, grow crowdfunding? Those are key things to think about.
A common mistake is that as Founders love their products (as they should) they often get blinded and imagine that everyone will feel that pain or see value on the product or service being promoted, thus they think that launching a crowdfunding, publishing an app or displaying on Product Hunt will solve all problems. Not quite.
Your strategy must aligned in 2 segments, partnerships and team. Partners will give you feedback, whether it's a end user or a company peering with you they will give you insight what is useful or not, if it is you will gain momentum to keep going. But as you gain momentum you can't go solo, so a team will also validate what you're doing, and join you if they believe the vision and help you keep and grow momentum.
How does this reply to you question? A team will help you grow, as you're developing, others are working on marketing, getting leads, contacting prospects, making buzz on social media, interacting here on Product Hunt via forum, so people meet and share ideas and help each other. This is part of building community, it takes time, but when you find your niche those fans will join your quest on Product Hunt or Crowdfunding because they know you, your product, team, and they like what you're building because they feel the pain that your product/service solves and they will be willing to put money on a Crowdfunding and share with others.
Hope it helps ;)
@daniel_tanque Thanks Daniel, that's an insightful reply. The key purpose for mine would be to get users, I have validated through beta tests, third party testers that the app has some utility.. I just don't have much of a following currently, but seeing the responses here I'm seeing a decent amount of convergence around building social media buzz first prior to launching which is actually really useful to know. Appreciate the help!!
