Good question! I think there needs to be a better way to organize all the content I save (or want to save but don't).
Alessandra Mikail
@neri_raanani Instagram has a decent save feature that lets you create your own folders, however, other social media apps are missing basic features like this one.

@neri_raanani Please support me when I launch my platform - this is going to be implemented.

@chetan_natesh Sure, keep me posted!
Social media apps are a great way to stay connected with friends, family, and loved ones. But there are a few things that social media apps have always lacked: -The ability to share content with friends who aren't on the platform you're using

@qudsia_ali I think this is an issue when they are not on any platform. but cross platform sharing is possible.
Alessandra Mikail
@qudsia_ali you can still share content and that content can still be viewed off-platform. However, the features you can use become very limited without joining the platform

The ability to disable certain features. I want a chronological timeline, I want the ability to disable reels. So I guess more niche customizations Also better sorting of bookmarked content (twitter)
Chetan Natesh
@philipsnyder Chronological timeline is too important - algo feeds are the main reason for filter bubbles!
Alessandra Mikail
@philipsnyder agreed, I also think that the main thing that's missing is having simpler features

I'd love to disable the infinite scroll after... let's say, one hour of scrolling.

@v18o Under works, will provide this on my platform. please support the launch 🙏
Alessandra Mikail
@v18o that would be a very useful feature!

Learning something productive. I feel if the media usage is directed towards productivity it'll be quite beneficial in long term.
Alessandra Mikail
@lodovico_sella you can still find ways to learn new things by following creators that educate their followers and training your algorithm to mostly show you things you're interested in
Chetan Natesh
@lodovico_sella That's because intensive content do not go well with ads
