    Dreamdata Audience Hub won the 2nd Product of the Day on Product Hunt  🥈 I was their hunter. Here are my 3 biggest learnings from this launch: 1. It was a big launch. Product Hunt was just a part of it.  A lot of startups make a big mistake relying only on Product Hunt. And they do random acts of marketing to gain top positions.  Dreamdata has an established go-to-market strategy. During their launch, they doubled down on it. BUT it depends on the maturity of your startup and your goals. Will not work for a startup with 0 customers and no audience. 2. All their team was involved. That’s how you promote your launch as a startup. 3. This is a marathon. The team was active on LinkedIn before the launch. The team is active on LinkedIn after the launch. The launch day was just more intensive. Thank you everyone for your amazing support!

    Congrats on earning 2nd Product of the day. I'm gonna be launching in the coming week and I think I got some clarity on what to do and what not to do. Also, love the product Dreamdata. I'm dealing with B2B Shopify brands and it's really difficult to manage ad campaigns through google and linkedin. Dreamdata is definitely gonna be of HUGE help in keeping track of that, all in one place. I would love for us to connect and talk more!

    Good learnings - especially helpful as we're trending at #2 with our launch today as well:) just shared this with the team. I feel like most of the value from PH nowadays is from residual benefits (SEO, backlinks, newsletter mentions) rather than launch day itself. What are your thoughts on this?

    @supademo_joe I supported you! And good luck :) Yes, that's why I wrote the #1. Your launch shouldn't be about "We're live on product hunt. Upvote us, strangers." Your launch should be about your customers and the new value for them. You should unite YOUR community (customers via emails, your network on LinkedIn/Twitter, your team, your investors, and influencers in your niche) to support you. Most launches on PH are about begging strangers to upvote products (and spammers with cold outreaches or lists). And people get top spots with 0 customers. Product Hunt can be a good motivator to unite your people :) Not an acquisition channel.
