Hey Hunters!
tl;dr
We spent $1,000 in twitter advertising only to realise 95% of the traffic and activity were bots. So we’re giving away $10,000 over the next 12 months to you and the rest of the community (https://tad.gg).
BACKGROUND
My co-founders and I have been on the startup lifecycle for a couple of years now. We’ve launched several products that have ultimately failed to generate product market-fit.
In our last project, we ran Twitter Ads, fine tuned campaigns, etc. Spent just over $1,000. Having analysed the traffic and the signups to our app, we found out that 95% of them were bots. We’ve known Twitter has a bot problem, we just hadn’t realised how big of a problem it is.
So we decided to do something radically different.
Instead of throwing more money at Twitter, we’ve decided to give it to you and the rest of community. That’s why we built https://tad.gg
The premise is very simple:
- You mint a ‘tad’ (Polygon NFT) for free.
- Every now and then, your ‘tad’ will wake up and display a ‘tad’-vert (see what we did there?)
- When you’re browsing your wallet on OpenSea, click on the link in the description of the ‘tad’ NFT and you’ll be entered into a weekly draw for 100 MATIC (~$125)
- The more ‘tad’-verts you interact with, the more entries you get to the weekly prize draw.
We have three core principles:
- People should be rewarded fairly for their attention.
- People should be allowed to set a price on their attention.
- People should be able to choose the type of attention they want to receive.
We hope you’ll join us on our journey. https://tad.gg
