Personally, I find streaks as a great place to start and then evolve/mature to momentum building. I would love to know your take.

Agree entirely with you; I feel streaks naturally lead to momentum. Streaks provide an incentive to keep going all the while momentum builds to a point that you outgrow streaks

@aaronoleary thanks for chipping in Aaron! I started thinking in this direction only after seeing my PH streak count. :)

I agree, streaks help form momentum for me it is a good motivation to keep going.

@gloria_ayanbimpe fear of breaking/loosing out is a great motivation.

I personally think that streaks are valuable when they have a validation attached to them. For instance, members of a support groups forming streak, or showcasing streaks publically to get validation and hold self-accountable. Otherwise, momentum's a good way to jolt into action

@krishnaswamy_anand_ganesh absolutely! Streaks make you take action - everyday - benefits are short-term to long-term, momentum usually builds for long-term results.

I love Streaks. However, I myself use a self-care app named Finch, which recently added streak-like counters to its goal system.
