Most startup founders are hungry to develop and build their product and then show to public. Often it is a wrong, because your will always change your product based on feedback.
As a startup founder i did a lot of mistakes and learned from it.
First of all each startup first of all should to be a media company then deliver core value. Your product could be the best, but if no one knows about it then it is useless.
Start thinking about marketing early. Do not underestimate branding, branding will give your a competitive advantage.
In my marketing strategy i always think like my customers, and trying to find where they hangout and what moment they need my product.
The best performing marketing is when your can deliver your message to the right audiences at the right time and place.
Keeping this in my mind i always use “Place based data”. Place based data will help you to better understand what people do in this location, how they look like, what time they have some certain behavior and based on this information you can create personalized ad creativity and deliver them.
