  • Start off with one time payment model and then move to subscription?

We're still in beta, but very close to launching. I want to do the real test of seeing if someone would pay for my service. One time payment is easier to implement code wise, but I know that subscription is more profitable. Is there much to be gained in terms of learnings from the one time model initially or should I just not waste time and launch with subscription + the option of one time payment?

If you go with a one-time payment, chances are the user will resist when you will launch a subscription. But, if you launch with the subscription model, people are already used to this model. I am also building a SaaS and going the subscription route. I want to ask one thing, how did you gather people for beta testing?

@gaurav_verma10 I recruited friends mainly. The rest came through LinkedIn and Reddit. I had the most luck with reddit tbh.
