So, last month we almost got Product of the Day, and then..

..and then, at the last possible moment, something happened. It was 30minutes to go and we were consistently ranked first. The product that was 2nd decided to leave two 1-star reviews and bad comments to our product - and so the algorithm took us down. We complained to support of course - we even got screenshots and a direct guilt confession of this product founders. But still, they told us this is "fair play" and this is how it works. I'm not too mad, our product is better anyways. Did anyone experienced the same? :)
