With AI becoming more powerful, there’s a growing call for regulation. But should governments control its development, or would this stifle innovation? How do we balance ethical concerns with technological progress?

The step by governments is right.
AI is being used to interfere in elections, swing social media, plant fake news, etc. Open AI has reported that an Israeli firm was used to manipulate elections in India, recently.
Earlier, there have been issues of Meta involved with planting news during the last US elections.
Now which government will tolerate that?
This is getting to be a real problem. Hence the call and steps to regulate it.
This is inevitable.
But within the bounds, there is a lot we can do with AI. It's only when we step outside of those that there will be issues.
