Should I direct my user to pre-order page or getting their email?

For our home page, we used to have the waiting list and now we are opening early access (with stripe payment). I am wondering what is the best practice? Should I direct all the CTA to stripe payment, or direct some of the CTA to getting their email (which historically has been pretty good for us). We also have a third CTA, which is to join our Discord, as an additional way to increase conversion. Love to hear what is everyone's experience or what's the best practice
do you have experience with this.. for the landing page.. would i prefer to ALWAYS direct them to payment, or ask them to join discord or get their email address? I changed the webite so that the only CTA is stripe and pre-prder..but i feel that email is very valuable

Collecting payment will help you validated your idea. Having people signup to your waiting list don't mean they will purhcase.

Think about itโฆ would you pay for something you know nothing about?

Yea I think offering a little value at the front end might be best but yea like someone else in the thread said - you can always segment your list and AB test it to see what the outcomes look like.

Hi @LouisaLu, it seems like you're wrangling with three potentially great conversion opportunities.๐ก I'd recommend A/B testing these CTAs to see which approach serves you best in terms of conversion.๐น An email list definitely has long-term benefits in terms of nurturing relationships and building customer loyalty. On the other hand, immediate payment indicates a strong commitment. Finally, a vibrant Discord community can add a real sense of vibrancy and social proof to your platform. Worth exploring all avenues!๐
