Share your opinion on White Label Apps?

Developers and businesses have been using White Label Apps. Easy to use and re-brand, it's good when one has to create a generic app. But the fact that it is still an empty slate makes people question its value. What are your opinions?

IMHO white lable products (or apps) may speed up the productivity of your app to launch onto market, at the moment there're plenty of software stacks we can leverage, help us to complete our implements. someone chooses the white lable solution and rebrands, someone builds products from scratch, a lot more would use such methods mixture, e.g. cloud service on demand, some opensource service stack, commercial version SDK.
Regarding white label apps, if it's appropriate for your requirements (features & others) you can choose, but still should consider about if there're some side effects, e.g. the compliance for user data, security issues (data leak), the black box (you can't get more details while encounting errors), rejection by iOS app store or google play (they would check the app binary/resource to prevent the app duplicated).
