Reddit Karma is a Chiken and Egg problem.

Reddit's platform is now flooded of bots and artificially generated content. The karma system is another major flaw, creating a catch-22 for new users: to gain karma, you need to engage by commenting, but many groups require a minimum karma threshold (often 100 points) to even allow participation. This chicken-and-egg problem makes it nearly impossible for newcomers to break into the ecosystem. These barriers discourage meaningful contributions and engagement, leaving the platform dominated by spam and inorganic content. I am working in a project that aims sove this issue.
