How do you spend it? What seems to be the most crucial need, when it comes to the technological background of a growing start-up?

Try and find a Tech co-founder, most VC do not invest in tech startups without one. Never give your equity to an outsourcing agency, never. Do not spend any money for the infrastructure 😅 every cloud provider has some kind of startup program, use it. Try not to vendor lock your app to one particular provider if not necessary 😄 Consider finding an experienced CTO (that has already built a startup from the ground up) to consult you with everything, and spend some of that money with them 😄

@ralic that's a really good advice! 👌 About finding a Tech co-founder; are there places that you could recommend when looking for one?

@lukaswardega startups tend to attract entrepreneurs and filter them from wantapreneurs. So looking at devs and ex devs from similar startups might come in handy. If after the growth stage they still want to be an entrepreneur they probably won't change their mind on you. Besides that, VCs like having co-founders that were already working in a startup. YC startup built sprint and co-founder matching are great for networking 😄 When it comes to skills CTO needs to be high on technical skills, but one of the biggest roles for CTO is growing a rockstar team. So people skills are extremely important as well. You can always find a mentor or an advisor for a high-level technical decisions 😄
