Netflix's biggest competitor is… sleep. With which demands does your business compete?

Competing demands or priorities refer to the various tasks, activities, or responsibilities that vie for an individual's time, attention, and resources.
This concept is particularly relevant in personal and professional settings, where individuals need to make decisions about how to allocate their limited resources, including time and energy.
Have you ever thought about competitors in this sense?

Lol, at first I was like i have never heard of sleep. What streaming service is that. Then I realized what you meant and I face palmed myself 🤦♂️ lol
It's easy to go down a rabbit hole when you start thinking like this and there's plenty more, for e.g. Instagram's biggest competitor is in-person interaction, Hinge's biggest competitor is marriage / long-term relationships... 😬
Good question! Something every product owner and entrepreneur needs to think about. When we were building a community-based social network, we were facing issues with attention and time. And now? Have to think deep about it, haha
Haha! Very cool and interestingly put. I think for my Netflix the competitor is the Books app LOL

My life's biggest competitor and annoyance is the human sleep requirement. Imagine what we could accomplish if we didn't have to sleep....ever! 🤣
