Mountains or the sea?

Since, in many countries, the vacationing season is ending up, just wondering where the PH community prefers to rest more: at the sunny beach or in the picturesque mountains?
And where have you already been this year?

For me, it depends on the mood, but since I am a water person, the sea (or better, the ocean) is always a good idea :)
