Launching tips - What is your purpose on Earth? - Arrival movie

Tonight, while re-watching "Arrival," a scene struck me as profoundly relevant to product management. Louise Banks, tasked with deciphering an alien language, simplifies a complex question to its essence: "What is your purpose on Earth?" She erases tons of formulas on a whiteboard, seeking clarity above all. This moment mirrored my reflections on product management or in general launching a new product. Amidst the complexities of data, market demands, and features, our true challenge lies in uncovering the simple, yet profound question: Why? Why are we building this? Whose life are we aiming to improve? It reminded me that, much like Louise, our role demands we cut through the clutter to find the core of our purpose. And for the endless romantics, I'm inspired by the movie's closing thought: "Despite knowing the journey and where it leads, I embrace it, and I welcome every moment of it."
