Hey everybody! I made a video discussing the top mistakes that I see people making when they're getting started with keyword research.
If you're interested here's the link:

Let me know if you've done any of these or if you've seen other mistakes 🙈

Thanks for the video! Also subscribed, good luck with the channel. 🚀
Quick question, for a new site should I only focus on long-tail keywords? I feel like all the content I'm writing for high search volume keywords never ranks.

@jamesrubio Hey thanks for the support!
I'd really reccomend looking into long-tail keywords especially if you're starting out. Can be a lot easier to rank and can be a good way to get your foot into a niche!
Hey @roberto_robles a thread for you :)

Wow that was really informative. Loved the video. Subscribed too!
I had a question for you about SEO - is there a way that I can get some of the search engines out there to not think my company’s name (Log Harvestor) is a spelling mistake? Lol every time I search for my company on Google it says “showing results for Log Harvester”.

@solomon_bush Hey man thanks for the support I appreciate it! I actually had this problem with another client of mine (an app called hevy where it kept saying "did you mean heavy?")
The main problem is that the keyword for your company's name isn't bringing in any traffic yet (and google isn't recognizing it as a topic, and as a result its bringing you to a keyword thats really similar that does have traffic ).
Once you start growing, and get some traffic (and some links with your brand name as the anchor) that will send google a pretty clear signal that you're there.
Might take some time but its definitely fixable 🙌
Goodluck out there🙏
@solomon_bush @jaume_ros2 Totally agree. Unless the brand awareness is not high, the problem will continue. With hard work and dedication, it can be achieved…
