Question

Things are changing with the recent removal of the 'Featured | All' toggle on Product Hunt. Now we only see products that are gaining traction which is good for trending products but could make it harder for newer or smaller creators to get noticed. Are we missing out on discovering hidden gems without the option to browse everything???

This change might make things simpler, but it also raises the question of whether it limits opportunities for lesser-known products to shine.

It likely means the option to filter between "Featured" and "All" content has been removed or merged for simplicity or a new layout.

Just checked and I'm still seeing the 'Featured | All' toggle too when clicking on 'Launches' in the header. Maybe it's a phased rollout or A/B test on their end? Curious to hear if others are seeing the same. 🤔

Good for trending products but definitely a loss for early stage creators. Hopefully, they introduce something to balance it out.

I love browsing through new products to see what creative ideas are out there. Some great photo editing apps don’t always make it to the top, but I find them super useful for my work. 😊 For me, Product Hunt is more about discovering products, not just helping them win. That’s the real essence—hunting for cool products, not just boosting them!🙌🏼

I get why they did it, but it's a bit sad. I loved scrolling through the lesser known
products and finding cool, unique stuff.
