    I'm a fan of bootstrapping personally, I'd rather have the users determine what I do next and not my investors

    @entreeden not really the case if you keep your equity on the right level and don't raise money every now and then.
    @entreeden @saamuel There are other factors beyond equity in the term sheets that can skew power, but I get it. Investors introduce the difficulty of managing more stakeholders, which is not always great but can be managed. My question was more focused on the general economic climate and whether people are still inclined to raise - probably unclear haha.

    We're looking to raise funds even if we wouldn't needed to. The problem in this market with these ad prices and fast life is that we're doing that just to speed everything up and I personally believe that giving up on a smaller cut of our equity is still worth it since it's really hard to get the audience and team you need without enough capital to start with. It's not impossible but fundraising could speed this process up by many years and would be beneficial for both parties.
    @saamuel This is fair. If the business is scalable and could thrive from VC money, then yeah, the choice is yours. Hope your fundraise goes well!
