It depends on your GTM strategy. If you are trying to target your customer directly (e.g. startup founders) and there are networking events specifically for startup founders, probably a good idea as a part of a founder-led sales strategy! Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Experiment. Choose different types of events, attend in a scrappy way (don't purchase a huge sponsorship, as an example), and determine what you got out of it. If you were able to secure high-quality leads or build relationships, probably something worth investigating. If you are attending networking events for other reasons (e.g. build press by meeting journalists or meet potential partners), just make sure that the right type of people are at the event.
@thisisaliceko I'm targeting startup founders for some of our products. Can you elaborate on different types of events?(by mentioning a few types) And, events happen worldwide; I've found that they give lists of attendees to those who register. Would that be a good way to reach out to them, virtually?

Hey everyone! 🚀 When it comes to marketing strategies, attending networking events is often a key component of a solid Go-To-Market (GTM) plan. Investing time in these events can build valuable relationships and open doors to new opportunities. Speaking of investments, have you ever wondered about the financial side of the entertainment industry? For instance, understanding "Actors Net Worth" can give insights into market trends and brand value, which could be crucial for your marketing strategies. What are your thoughts on the impact of networking on your business? 🤔💼
