    According to the first link i clicked on after typing "PHP usage statistics 2023" into Google: yes. Apparently the market share is 77.5%. Which is quite a lot. No idea if that's an accurate number, but considering that PHP used to be the goto tech for web devs, it's quite believable. Out there, in the real world, things don't change that fast. Most companies don't rewrite their whole codebase every time a new shiny thing comes along.
