If you could create a more engaging and interactive experience on a remote meeting, would you do it?

I find that any remote call (Zoom\Teams\Webex) boring as all we do is stare at the slide deck. We dont feel like we are talking to people. I think that there is a lot of room for improvements. Thoughts?
