I'm beginner, and I want to become really good at UI Design, can you share some tips/tricks on how to become better at it? The internet has lots of resources, and I don't know where to start.

Focus on the industry you are passionate about then learn its design patterns and user behavior (Ex. E-commerce, FinTech, Social Media, Dating App). Be the master in the industry that you can talk about it for hours and be the most knowledge person in that industry as a designer. This will help you in long run.

Imagine that you are steering a boat. To move forward you need to row with both oars. If you row with one oar, you will drift to one side and end up drifting in place. It's the same situation with UI Design. You have practice in one hand and knowledge in the other. You can practice, but without knowledge you won't grow. You can constantly get new knowledge, but without practice you won't be able to apply it. So you have to row all the time.

The best advice I can honestly give is that you keep practicing, maybe even recreating designs that catch your eye, share your work and don't take criticism personal
