Hi, Product Hunt community! 👋 I’m Rohas Nagpal, a Blockchain Architect and Bitcoin developer. I’m building Bitcoin Pulse, the ultimate real-time dashboard for Bitcoin investors and traders. It provides actionable insights and metrics to help you stay ahead in the ever-evolving crypto market. A little about me: 1. I’ve worked in tech since the 1990s, starting as a hacker and diving into cryptography and blockchain. 2. My journey with Bitcoin began in 2011 while investigating a drug mafia case for the police. 3. I’ve mined Bitcoin, helped build blockchain ecosystems for banks, and consulted on NFTs and CBDCs for the Reserve Bank of India's Innovation Hub. 4. I co-founded Primechain and BankChain, working with 37+ banks and companies like IBM, Microsoft, and Intel. Ask me anything about Bitcoin—its technology, investing strategies, real-world use cases, or the future of crypto. Whether you’re a seasoned trader, a curious newbie, or just fascinated by blockchain, I’m here to answer your questions. Let’s talk Bitcoin! 🚀

Given your long experience, what do you consider to be the most underappreciated aspect of Bitcoin's technology that could have the biggest impact on its mainstream adoption in the coming years?

To test blockchain-based apps, focus on functional, performance, and security testing. For smart contracts, use tools like Truffle, Hardhat, or Ganache for unit testing and simulations. For API testing, use Postman. For load testing, tools like JMeter or K6 are great. Always test for vulnerabilities using tools like MythX or Slither.

Scalability is the most underappreciated aspect IMO. Most focus on Bitcoin's decentralization and immutability, but without being able to scale to handle mainstream transaction volumes, those other benefits are moot. Exciting developments like the Lightning Network and sidechains are tackling this head-on and will be key to unlocking the next wave of adoption. Curious to hear your take on the scalability question!
