I'm launching a smart travel guide - what's your biggest travel pain point?

Hi Product Hunters!
I'm launching Travo next week (December 18th) - a travel guide that helps you discover the stories behind places you visit.
The idea came from a real problem: We often find ourselves in front of interesting places during travels, but guidebooks and multiple apps make it hard to learn their fascinating stories in the moment.
I've built Travo to solve this - bringing you rich historical stories, audio stories, and optimized routes to explore cities at your own pace.
Before the launch, I'm curious:
- How do you discover local stories during your travels?
- What's your current solution for learning about places you visit?
- Which cities would you love to explore?
I'll share a special PH launch discount next week for those interested!
Thanks,
Bogdan

@nichovski I appreciate that!
Totally feel your pain on travel planning struggles! For India, definitely check out Tripoto - it's an awesome social travel platform with tons of user-generated guides, itineraries and tips specifically for India. Helps cut through the noise and get authentic local recommendations. Would love to see your smart guide integrate with a resource like that!

@ethanrobertkensington I love your recommendation; thanks. I can definitely do some integrations.
That sounds like a really cool project! My biggest travel pain point is definitely finding a good balance between exploring a city at my own pace and learning about its history and culture. Most guidebooks are either too detailed or not engaging enough. I usually rely on Google and YouTube for local stories, but it's often scattered and hard to piece together.
@feliciana_liu Really appreciate you sharing this! Which cities did you find most challenging when trying to piece together their stories and history?
@nichovski Cities with a rich history, like Rome, were the hardest because there’s just so much to uncover.
@feliciana_liu Rome is already available for all users 😍 Actually, Rome was my inspiration to build the app 😊
