I've found that a lot of my best ideas come to me when I'm not trying to be "productive".

Same, the more I try the less successful I will be in finding an idea/solution, however, whenever I am relaxed, ideas flow more easily.

This resonates so hard. With AI especially image and video... Makes you feel like you need to create lesser quality to hit that quantity. I 100% feel that reduce in creativity. Now I take daily walks and non-negotiable gym sessions. We gotta disconnect!

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more! Taking breaks and stepping away from work can often lead to the most creative ideas. Even if it sounds generic, less social media consumption makes me more creative and less stressed.
Reducing screen time outside of work had the biggest impact on my productivity.
Especially in the startup ecosystem we often try work as many hours as we can. When I do some breaks I'm often more productive like when I work without breaks for hours. I have the best ideas while walking. So a short break, fresh air and some steps can totally improve your creativity.

for me, it is when i chat with my friends. the people around me inspire me and when talking to them, i get new ideas.
Not always but sometimes I get some great ideas when I am bored and not working at all. It's a lot of pressure to be creative in a non-stop working environment.
