The most common way setting up brainstorming session is - form a group of people and let them speak aloud without criticism or limitations, and then collect the thoughts via sticky notes on the whiteboard. Do you think the immediate thought is valuable? Is this type of brainstorming session effective for you? What is the process you set up for your team to collect thoughts?

Hey, buddy! What made you ask that question? What problem prompted you to look for an answer?

@eg21 Got it. That makes sense! I really like ideation, but I don’t like brainstorming with many people. That’s not an effective way for me. I love to ideate alone first then discuss it with one person, not many. What’s your name?

@shashcoffe Hey Alexey. I followed you in PH. I am building ideaio.xyz and looking for some thoughts on how the current ideation process works for teams.

My team and I use an online whiteboard Weje for brainstorming. After everyone writes down their ideas, it is important to keep track of which ideas should be implemented. Therefore, after brainstorming, we get together and fix ideas, discuss and plan.

@vmigova Thank you for sharing your feedback! Good to know Weje. What do you dislike about the collaborative whiteboard tool? Afterwards, may I know what tool do you use to discuss and plan the action items? thanks!
