Hey everyone! I'm Antheny, I love working out and have been for the past 8 years! Together with my friends we're building a mobile game around working out. We see a future where working out isn't a chore anymore but fun and exciting! There are a few fitness games out there but none in the RPG style that we envision, furthermore the only fitness games out there are for very specific areas for working out, no overall fitness game. Right now we've built a discord community with students from our university and are now open for any fitness and gaming enthusiasts to join. We plan to have a working MVP by the end of the summer. Plus all of our '' early birds'' will be getting exclusive in game items. If you're ready to be early on something great: https://discord.gg/P4Cm8C3g Best wishes

Spread the FNF fever by sharing the unblocked version with friends. Challenge each other to intense rap battles, compare high scores, and see who can conquer the toughest beats. FNF unblocked games https://gamesgo.net/friday-night... are not just about playing; they're about creating rhythmic memories together!

I do a combination of 2 things 1. Set goals 2. Use an app to track progress Goals are great to have and a really important part of a workout routine. I'm into lifting these days, so I have pure numbers as goals on different lifts. Along the way, I include little achievements and treat myself with a cheat meal when I hit them! Goals that are really fun and actually make you feel like the main character in an RPG are calisthenics goals. So that could be trying to achieve a muscle up, do a planche, etc. Super cool looking moves. You can also try to approach tricking. As far as tracking progress goes, I use the strong app, but you could even just use the apple notes app on your iphone or google keep. The important thing here isn't the precise tracking, but more just knowing that you're progressively doing more week over week or month over month. The most important thing is that if you were lifting 50kg last month, you should be lifting 52.5kg this month etc.. The bioneer on youtube has really cool exercise selection that really feels RPG-like

Zwift is great for cycling and running, very realistic, with group rides, races, etc. Maybe too specific, but there are a lot of runners and riders out there...

Are you saying that my Wii Sport routine isn't make the cut? 🤣 All jokes aside, very excited to see what you and your team brew up.

Gamifying workouts is a fantastic idea, Antheny! Turning fitness into a fun, RPG-style experience could motivate people to stay active and reach their goals. Your vision for an all-encompassing fitness game sounds promising. Adding tools like Rowing Edge to a workout routine could complement this concept beautifully. Rowing machines deliver full-body engagement, boost stamina, and improve cardiovascular health. They’d fit seamlessly into a gamified setup, offering real-life rewards for virtual achievements.

A fitness tracker can track your progress, set goals and remind you when you need to workout. You can use the data to compete against yourself or friends and see how much progress you have made.

This sounds pretty awesome! How do you envision the convergence of the two? Will it be like quests for certain activity types, or a wearable that detects movement, or VR?

Do something related to it everyday.

One way to make working out more like a video game is by incorporating interactive virtual reality experiences that provide challenges, rewards, and progression based on physical performance.

Try incorporating gamification elements into your workout routine such as setting goals, earning points or rewards, and tracking progress to make it more engaging and fun like a video game

An exciting goal is to have a working MVP (Minimum Viable Product) before the end of the summer. This will allow you to get user input and make adjustments to your game based on how they actually feel while playing. One great approach to thank people for sticking with you from the start is to give them access to special goodies in-game.

Hey Antheny! It's awesome to hear about your passion for working out and your exciting project of building a mobile game around fitness in an RPG style. It's true that combining fitness and gaming can make exercising more enjoyable and engaging for many people. Your vision of creating a comprehensive fitness game that covers various areas of working out sounds fantastic and unique. Creating a discord community is a great way to gather like-minded individuals who share your enthusiasm for fitness and gaming. By opening it up to fitness and gaming enthusiasts beyond your university, you're expanding your reach and potentially bringing in diverse perspectives and ideas. Having a working MVP (Minimum Viable Product) by the end of summer is an exciting milestone. It will give you an opportunity to gather feedback and iterate on your game based on real user experiences. Offering exclusive in-game items to early supporters is a fantastic way to reward them for joining your journey from the beginning. I'm sure there are many fitness and gaming enthusiasts out there who would be thrilled to be part of your early community and witness the growth of your project.
