Morgen
Trying to actively cap it by blocking time in my calendar in the morning and afternoon, because otherwise it's easy to bleed through the whole day.

I typically use my morning "downtime" before work to jump into communities and respond to things - It honestly helps me set the tone for the day before switching over to other tasks.

@emily_matick This is interesting approach, i will try it out. Sometimes i get so overwhelmed with daily tasks that i even forget to jump on our channels.

@sandradjajic Yeah tell me about it, sometimes it's like forcing the time honestly. But I make it work!
I love my job, but some days the answer is “waaaaay too many hours”. 😂
I enjoy communicating with members.. We get lot of ideas only when we communicate with others.. Therefore, I spend about 3 hours in community engagement...

@ashlyn_bambina That is true. 3 hours seems like reasonable time to spend especially if you get good results out if it!

To be honest, I'm really passionate about different communities and how they serve different purposes and audiences. That's why I love studying communities and their unique characteristics. Each community provides a different experience and I find that really exciting!

@dogukan_tezcan Thats amazing! What other channels are you using to create communities?
I'm only doing PH and Twitter in the moment. I'm trying to crack Reddit aswell :)

@sandradjajic I usually use discord, except for PH and Twitter. We are happy to see you in our community: discord.gg/FaPHmjAuH3
depends on your member and target members, I remember the days when NFT projects are hyped. 250k in a week in Discord and now even Twitter is silent 😂
I had a client before with B2B using Instagram for an FB group - 5 beta testers in 3 days (Canada only and a few more qualifications)

I usually spend 1 hour total to respond and create post on online communities.

@imjohnkoo Well you seem very efficient :D sometimes it takes me only an hour to come up with post idea haha

@sandradjajic yea It's hard to get an idea sometimes and takes a lot of time. Therefore, I don't set aside time just for generating ideas. As soon as I come up with an idea, I write it down and later turn it into a post.

If we're talking about community engagement, only thirty minutes, jumping up to an hour as of today though.
If we're talking about work towards the community, I have no idea and honestly do not want to track it haha.
