How Many Subscriptions Do You Have? 😵

Hey, Product Hunt friends!
I just realized… I have no idea how many subscriptions I’ve signed up for! 😅 Every month, I see random charges on my card for services I completely forgot about or don’t even use anymore.
Does anyone else struggle with this?

858 for today. It's time to reach 1000 :)

@nickanisimov You're not saying all 858 are paid subscriptions, right? I'm also curious how you managed to count them all!
@nickanisimov I think that's a lot. What are those?

I try to keep a good subscription hygiene, cancelling everything as soon as its not needed 🤫

I think that maybe up to 5 :D

@busmark_w_nika :D i feel you
I put every subscription on a virtual card with a limit. If I forget about one, at least it won’t auto-renew on me without warning.
this is why i stick to free trials and nothing else haha
Have you tried any subscription tracking apps?

Hi Priyanka! How are you?
I am guilty of that as well, but as of this month, I took time cleaning up my list of subsccriptions and I think I cancelled around 30% of them already. Still going through the rest.
Oh btw, I sent you a message in LinkedIn :-)
Netflix, Spotify, Amazon Prime, Adobe CC, Headspace... I think I have like 8 or 9 subscriptions total 😅 It definitely adds up quick! Trying to figure out which ones I can cut. Anyone else feel like subscription overload is becoming a problem these days?
@thomasjackson
Yes, it is a "thing"! I'm paying attention to what apps/tools/services I'm using and eliminating the ones I don't use on a regular basis. For example, I'll probably pull the plug on Netflix and Hulu, I log in and then can't find anything interesting to watch, then end up listening to music or watching YT content.
I'm at 7 subscriptions now 😅 Netflix, Spotify, Amazon Prime, HelloFresh, Dropbox, PlayStation Plus, and a VPN. Feels like a lot but I do use them all regularly. Curious to see what others have, maybe I'm not too crazy after all 🤪

I have 3 but I maintain one Notion page about it so you can revisit and add one column "Frequency of Usage" and decide, It will take seconds but save money
Too many to count! Between streaming services, cloud storage, creative tools, and productivity apps, I'm probably hovering around a dozen. My wallet is definitely feeling the subscription fatigue. 😅 Anyone else in the same boat or found ways to optimize and consolidate?

@michaelanthonyroberts Same! XD, wouldnt it be great if it was possible to keep track of everything with ease? ;)
Let's see... I've got Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Adobe Creative Cloud, 1Password, Apple Music, NYT, and a couple random ones for news subscriptions and productivity tools. So like 10-12 I think? Curious to hear what others are rocking subscription-wise! 🙋♂️💸
After trimming down I stick to just a few essentials like productivity apps and streaming.
Niche tools are my downfall. Those small charges sneak up on me every month.
Oh, I’m guilty of this too! I found it helpful to go through my bank statements once a month to catch any subscriptions I’ve forgotten about.
Canceling unused subscriptions last week saved me a ton. It's easy to forget what it I signed up for.
Lost count! I started using a subscription tracker to avoid surprises.
@delaney_white1 what tracker do you use? I have for sure lost count
Hey Priyanka! You're definitely not alone in this. I was in the same boat.
