How long do you think it will take AI to remove the language barrier?

I suppose AI has already made significant progress in reducing language barriers and will likely continue to improve rapidly in the coming years!

That would be a cool thing if it happens perfectly. With such powerful capabilities, I don't think it takes too long.

We don't need AI to remove the language barrier, English will remove it. Youtube alone has huge impact on gen-z in non english-speaking country.

There is already a free software that can translate any Youtube video on the fly. My friends use Yandex Browser built-in autotranslation feature to understand latest YC / Lex Friedman / Tim Ferris / crypto-related podcasts before anyone makes a proper dubbing.
