The concept of automotive design as a productized service introduces a fascinating dimension to the industry. It suggests a shift towards personalized, on-demand design solutions tailored to individual preferences and needs. Imagine accessing a platform like https://carfast.express/auction/lots/58432562-ferrari-458-italia-2011-vin-zff67nfa5b0182186 where clients can browse, select, and customize their dream vehicles with ease. This approach not only enhances customer satisfaction but also fosters innovation and creativity in automotive design, paving the way for a dynamic and exciting future.

hey bro,
interesting thought. when i think about automotive design, it's traditionally been a bespoke, intricate process. productizing it brings several considerations:
1. scalability: can quality remain consistent as demand scales?
2. customization vs standardization: where's the balance? cars are deeply personal to many.
3. iteration speed: productized services often need to adapt quickly to feedback.
4. market demand: who's the target? individual car enthusiasts, small manufacturers, or larger players?
5. tech integration: with the rise of EVs and autonomous driving, how does this service account for evolving tech needs?
6. cost implications: productization often aims to reduce costs. does this compromise the uniqueness that's often desired in auto design?
7. collaboration: how does this model facilitate collaboration between designers, engineers, and other stakeholders?
intriguing concept, but it'll be vital to address these nuances. could be a game-changer in democratizing auto design, especially for niche markets or custom projects.🚗✨

@shajedulkarim_ this is great feedback thank you!
1. Currently I have just one client but I also still work my 9 to 5.
My plan is to take on at least 4 clients then leave my job to put all my focus on this. As demand grows maybe hiring another designer might be a good idea.
2. I don’t think much can be standardized every design is unique other then materials, fasteners and things of that nature.
3. Yes, turnaround time is definitely important which is why I offer minimum meeting time so that my time is spent designing.
4. My target is small manufacturers
5. This should give EVs flexibility to explore one off innovative design concepts since it’s more cost effective.
6. I think there are some cons but it’s not intended to replace a full time designer, only another option for those who don’t want to make that commitment.
7. I need to explore more ways to drive collaboration. Right now I use Trello and emails to communicate.
