I launched indiebackers.dev where you should be able to validate your idea. Unfortunately, I am stuck with catch-22 regarding content and users. In general, I would think reaching out to companies (if they're are your target group) and ask if they wanna join as early adopters would be a good option. I'm gonna try that next.

Before the big ProductHunt reveal, I like to connect with communities related to my niche. Engaging in conversations not only helps in validating the idea but also builds anticipation. It's all about creating a buzz and making your launch a community event.

Honestly, an overlooked way to do it is targeting your (supposed) audience on Meta and running some ads. You don't have to spend a ton. But you could find some good learnings even if no one clicks the ad - just means your messaging/creative/targeting is off. Then you can narrow down!

Test the waters for your ProductHunt launch by gathering honest feedback from your network. Offer a prototype or MVP to a select group, engage in relevant online communities, and seek input from industry experts. Understand user needs and pain points through focus groups, ensuring adjustments are made before presenting to the broader ProductHunt audience.

Cheers to the ProductHunt journey! Personally, I organize informal meetups or webinars to discuss the idea. It's a fantastic way to observe people's reactions, answer questions in real-time, and, most importantly, build a tribe of early supporters. Because launching without your cheerleaders is like a party with no music!
Great question! Personally, I like to create a landing page or a simple prototype showcasing the key features. Then, I share it on social media and relevant forums to gauge interest and gather initial feedback. It's amazing how much insight you can get even before hitting ProductHunt. Testing the waters, you know?

Build a pre-launch community by engaging users. Create excitement, encourage beta testing, and gather testimonials to validate your product's appeal. Involving your audience early ensures a successful ProductHunt launch.
